One of the things that I always talk about is changing the world. This video is not meant to be preachy. It is a video from conference called TED where people to share ideas – and I think it is pretty powerful stuff. I discovered it as I was researching an environmental show. And I really think it’s worth sharing. If it’s too long to watch all at once, I hope you’ll come back for the rest of it when you have time. There is a particularly inspiring final 10 minutes that speaks of the opportunity that this climate crisis is presenting us.
If, you are like most Singaporeans, you never saw Al Gore’s movie, “An Inconvenient Truth”. That was from a few years ago. This is his new message for 2008. And it is good.

thanks for sharing. good stuff to keep my brains humming at this time of the nite. tho i’d have to do the show in a few sittings…
guess it’s a different story over here in asia, whether the impact of the problem will hit home (i’m thinkin of the aircons hummin at this time of nite). maybe i’m a skeptic, but for future generations, i think it’s a problem all of us’d play a part, sooner the better. i feel more can be done to limit the environmental damage in asia, in general..

Hi Petrina & Joe,
I know this is coming a little late. I am ashamed, but I haven’t visited this blog for some time, didn’t even know you were updating. Hence the late well-wishes I’m about to give.
Once upon a time, I was getting bored with a certain station and decided to ‘radio-hop’. That was sometime last year (hmm.. or maybe earlier this yr).
I fell in luv with Hossan and his then partner and decided to listen to Power 98. Then, one day, I was ’station-surfing’ and I heard a certain game called “Petrina’s Always Right” with Joe, Petrina and of course, Elliot. That was it! I tuned in again after work, the Married Men! And I thought, “OMG!! I should have done this earlier!”
But now that’s all gone. My mornings are never the same again. When I heard the news, I was devastated.
When I got to know that Joe joined Power 98, I felt relieved. (Especially since I was enjoying myself with Hossan before Petrina & Joe’s Morning Show). Perfect! Oh, when I heard Elliot was gonna be there, I thought, “Jackpot! I found my new station.”
Good luck to u both (& Elliot)!! You will all do well. Petrina, you might want to say that out loud since Petrina’s Always Right

Hello and a good day to you. I was sad to hear that u were fired. The first was to log to your blog @ radiojoe.com waiting for the news where u are. Somehow I was surfing and I remembered that u have another blog with pat. Now that u are back t0 98, I will be there! 913 was not the same without u in the morning. somehow the guy w/the afro is weak. The married man is ok. U know what? I went to 93.8. Like u said “management level”. Have not go to work got stress already. Come monday, I’m there listerning back to 98.!Hope mornings got POWER man. All the best! I need to spread the word around!

Miss you on 91.3 Joe. I can’t believe they were dumb enough to think the station could do without you. Still i listen to you every morning on Power now.
Just want you to know I’ve heard so much nasty gossip about that radio station I think it was a blessing in guise for you to have left 91.3.

Hi Joe, where is your latest blog site now? I have not been tracking very closely with your recent updates, although I know you are currently with Power 98.
Is this blog still on-going? Is there another blog site that you are currently active too? I’m kinda interested to get into poking my nose into your news.
