How to put pictures on the Blog 101
June 18, 2008 12:49 am Joe And Petrina's BlogYes. I am trying to put pictures on the blog. But at the moment, laying eggs actually seems simpler.
I know some of you fine gentlemen and ladies reading this would so LOVE to come to this DAMNED-SEL’s rescue and just do it for me, but I am hell-bent on getting it UP. Kinda like how our dear Bluddy (Blog-Buddy) Lee Ah Seng would feel when surrounded by the top-grade cheena girls from Tiananmen KTV.
So I try again. And again. And again.
And I type faster, and faster and bang on the keyboards harder and harder. (Err…this is really weird but as I’m typing this, I’m hearing my neighbours with the REALLY LARGE WOODEN BEDHEAD bang away literally, next door…)
Lucky for me and my poor husband who’s sound asleep, it’s all over before I can even finish typing this sentence.
Anyway, back to getting it up, this is what my computer tells me when I try to upload a picture.
After I try to ‘Add Image’ by ‘Choosing File’, the screen goes blackish-grey and out pops a little candy striped stick who is apparently ‘Crunching’. And that’s bad I gather because HTTP ain’t too happy about it as it wants me to ‘Dismiss’ the ‘error’.
If someone can please translate that to English, Mandarin or even Cantonese, I can GET IT UP!!#@^%$
Now, if Kim Seng CC offered this course, I would be the first to sign up.

You can use a “copy” and “paste” simply to insert the picture.

hmmm..so Petrina, i guess u would be happy with joe for his upcoming stint at Power98..well…i really encourage you to listen to them…blah blah blahing and yak yak yaking..and discussing the circle of Happiness..all OF IT…WITHOUT U???!!!…how could that be?? on second thoughts… anyone over at your hubby’s company who blogs and can help?
i don’t think we can depend on your ‘toilet paper assistants’ rite?
can’t think of anything else, short of meeting at some wireless spot (eg mac) to do on-the-spot troubleshooting and demo.
did you try another pc to see if the same problem persists? can always load up on flickr or something, then do a image link over fr your page.

Hello PK
If you’re on wordpress, then you should be on the new interface that lets you insert media.
Click on the image icon and it should go totally grey and try and load up the ‘flash’ image loader. If you have problems with that, then simply try and use the ‘browser’ loader – flash is something that causes problems sometimes. If you had an ‘error’ – sometimes it’s because you’re on wifi and the dang loader takes too long – (connection bad lah etc etc ) – so it’ll throw you a silly message. Don’t give up and try again.

Hey Pet, think you’re facing the same problem my mum had earlier this week.
Just download Mozilla Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com and use it instead of Internet Explorer.
That worked for my mum =)

Hey JOE & PETRINA!!! Would you consider this:-
Get a private radio station with it’s own frequency band, throw all the FARNEE DEEJAYS in that station and do shows such as:-
Mornings with Joe,Petrina,FD, Shireen,Hossan. (Actually FD,Joe and Petrina during 95 days quite gila wat).
Lunchtime easy listening-less talk anyone will do lah.(hahaha)
Evening with the Married Men.
Night-time dedication with Glen Ong and his short-fart,simone,godfather etc…
Hahahaaaa…just some wild thoughts.

anyway any rich single ladies to inroduce from your tai tai clique???…those whose hubbies left them for a younger cheena woman and now feeling pissed and empty but hor got huge settlement from divorce that type….
but tell them first lah…i not as strong as in the past…no longer able to twice a day, 7 days a week…now at most once a day, 6 days a week….i referring to my push up and sit up routine hor…
