This has killed any expectations of listening in on morning drives….
And I thought Jeremy and Elliott had to do an extra week because both of you had been enjoy so much of the break.
Or that 913 was liberal enough to give huge doses of leave. Just for that extra sparks (or happiness) for the show.
Joe, if you’re reading this, I know you can bounce back. Come back soon.
Petrina, enjoy your new phase of life. Both you and Joe should come back here, and keep us posted on things.
And ya… PODCAST is a good idea. Maybe you two can syndicate a new show. Just half an hour or something. Twice a month, maybe?

You have got to be kidding me…just when i’m becoming a serious fan of 91.3 and half the reason i listen to it is canned off the air!!!…and not even a goodbye…
to the mgmt of 91.3, you are out of your mind…

Never bothered to listen to 913 before you folks came on, and in all likelihood, will never bother to listen to 913 again. (the past 2 weeks of programming on 913 have been BAD). Mgt of 913 clearly didn’t realise that they had something good going with your morning show. Tsk tsk

Just heard abt ur departure from my friend and i thot she was kidding me so i decided to check on the blog and it’s true! I was so awaiting for you guys to come back on air from your vacation…treally dunno what is going on in the SPH mgmt’s mind.
Now there’s no radio station worth listening to anymore. *sad*
Nevertheless, Loads of thanks to Petrina and Joe for all the laughter and fun and loony-ness that brightens up my morning every day….I will definitely missed the both of you and am already missing it.

The whole thing is badly handled leaving the station with many irate listeners – maybe I should say EX-listeners like myself.
Joe, if you are reading, you should consider doing another stand-up comedy show; the one you did a few years ago was soo cool. My husband and I really enjoyed it.
And yeah, regular podcasting via the Net is an excellent idea. There are other revenue streams to be had besides online ads.
Or even an internet radio station!! Oh the possibilities are ENDLESS!

at least something good came out of this, i am selling my car and take the mrt since i won’t be listening to the radio now and the mrt got no radio signal, it fits me just fine. also i just want to check ah. since now i don’t listen to the radio, radio and tv licence can get half price?
the bloody bad things is now no more morning show to wake up to, all of the sudden this week i always late for work.

Gosh, I was on leave and I came back to this!!! I never expected this.
You guys are much better than the drivel that I’d been hearing from Class 95 from the self-centred Glenn Ong and Flying Dutchman.
And it really was the morning show and the Married Men that has carried 91.3 so far.
It is a bad move by the management, and Jamie will regret the decision when he looks back at it.
Good luck guys, and I only fear that this could spell the beginning of the end for 91.3 as a competitor to the MediaCorp stations.

First of, my mornings will no longer be the same as they used to be. I see no point in listening to whatever’s left on the air in the morning…even with other stations.
The only straw that’s left on the camel’s back are The Married Man.

Yo Joe…see lah..from Power98 to 913 i always sms you ask you play me one Iron Maiden song….whats the worst that could happen manz??? certainly not get you fired!!…at least if you played it”ll be like heck Joe”s the only DJ with balls to play Iron Maiden on air…..
The way i read it,its the program directors wanna justify their pay….cause if the turnaround and rise in ratings for the station is just due to you…then pay them for what???…so they must come up with some new pattern….this is life and its very tu laning….and doesnt mean i have to take it….so I wrote in to screw the 913 managment….doesnt mean it will change anything….but heck…everytime i screw someone i always feel very song….and for the next week or so 913 will be my bitch…cause i always need a couple of screws to release my frustration…

that could have at least had the courtesy and respect to let you guys end the show on a good note with your listeners!! I feel that 91.3fm owes it all to your team! I remember your first show, and was hooked all the way!!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for brightening our days!! It is truly the management’s loss!! I wonder how secure any dj at 91.3fm feels at this juncture!! As for a fresh team, well they must have major issues if they didnt realize how fresh your team was!!

sigh the whole story and the management explanation is very bad, does not make sense. What do you mean we compare. Every station and every replacement they also compare. Can you imagine. If all DJs have a partners, then be careful, if one leave the other will also be terminated if not listeners will compare.
Anyway take care guys and do keep us fans updated in particular Joe, which station are you moving to. In the meantime I’m switching to Power 98 for my music fix and 91.3 married men in the evening.

I liked the old ah beng station … it seemed that being taken over by SPH has TAINTED the flavour of 91.3fm and sister channel at 100.3fm
The teams that were working great were separated and broken up … it seemed that the plan was to undo the good work and set it up for mediocrity …

I have been switching channels to channels for a decent enough morning show.
Forget 95fm. I cannot stand 1 of the duo to the core. I’ll probably crash my car into a pole or something.
This is not working out, it is not for the music or the “not-more-than-2-ads-in-a-row” slogan that I listen to 91.3.
It’s for the personalities and morning is just totally not the same without Petrina and Joe. *sigh* say also say until sian already, everybody here is like a broken tape recorder. But it’s not going to change anything.
